The tan is applied to your skin as a mist via a spray gun. It is generally believed that a professional spray tan application provides the most even tanning results because the atomised tanning liquid is applied to the skin in a perfectly uniform way.

To get the best results, exfoliate a week beforehand to ensure the skin is nice and smooth. Shave 12 hours before as skin will be sensitive. Wear dark loose clothing and flip flops. Avoid using deodorant and body lotion before your appointment as this may discolour the tan.
