EYELASH EXTENSIONS

Serenity Beauty offers two types of eyelash extensions; semi-permanent lash extensions and individual semi-permanent eyelash extensions.
The Difference?
- Semi Permanent Lash Extensions (Cluster Lashes): These are added in a collection of a few lashes on top of your own eyelashes. They last for approximately two weeks. These are added in cluster lashes which are placed on top of your own eyelashes
- Individual Eyelash Extensions (advanced): These eyelashes are filled in between your own lashes to appear fuller and more noticeable. You can have either a half or a full set of eyelashes. They last for about 3-6 weeks; however with careful maintenance and regular refills they can last longer.
EYELASH & EYEBROW TINTING
Eyelash and eyebrow tinting is a process whereby your eyelashes are dyed to enhance them and to make them appear darker or lighter. Depending on your skin type and hair colour, you can achieve colours including black, blue, brown, grey or a combination of two; often the therapist can combine colours to enhance the colour of your eyes!
Eyelash tinting in particular is beneficial to people who are sensitive to make-up, consistently active and sporty people (especially swimmers) and people who simply don’t have time to apply make-up daily. Tinting is also ideal for people who wear contact lenses, as the discomfort of applying mascara is eliminated.
The process involves a quick procedure, where vegetable dye is used as a tint. In comparison to applying mascara, the effect of eyelash tinting is very natural. This is the reason why many salons and spas will not lighten the colour of your natural eyelashes.
EYELASH LIFTING
What is a Lash Lift?
A lash lift is an all-natural, semi-permanent procedure that gives you the appearance of fuller, thicker eyelashes without the use of any leave-on chemicals or extensions. The natural lashes are boosted from the root, giving them a lifted, lengthened appearance.
With a lash lift, you won’t have to deal with clumpy mascara or annoying falsies. Plus, you’ll wake up every morning with naturally long, thick lashes.
Many people choose to get their lashes tinted a darker color to increase the effect. You can think of it as a perm for your lashes.
In general, a lash lift lasts for around 4 to 6 weeks, but this can vary depending on your lashes and the type of lash lift you choose. With proper care, you may be able to extend the life of your lash lift to 6 weeks.
Immediate Aftercare
What you do immediately after getting a lash lift can have a big impact on how long the treatment lasts. It can take up to 48 hours for the treatment to set, so it’s important to follow the aesthetician’s care instructions which include no water on the lashes and no make up or cleansing solutions around the lashes.
A patch test is needed at least 48 hours before treatment.
HENNA BROWS
Henna brows are a type of tinting that stains the skin giving you tinted hairs for up to 6 weeks and a tint on the skin that can last anywhere from 2-10 days. It’s a fantastic way to try out a shape before committing to semi-permanent makeup, or if you just want your eyebrows shaped and filled temporarily.
Henna has been around for thousands of years and has been used for hair dye, body art, and makeup. A lot of people associate henna with the colour red, but henna brows are specially formulated to give a more cool colour tone that is absolutely perfect for eyebrows.
What are the Microblading requirements?
A patch test is necessary 24 hours prior to treatment
- You should avoid rubbing the eye area
- You should avoid heat treatments (such as saunas) for 24 hours
- Direct sunlight should be avoided for 24 hours, as this will fade the tint
- If possible, do not put contact lenses back in your eyes for the rest of the day
- Although we ensure traces of dye are removed, residues may remain. However this will naturally wash off shortly after application
- Do not apply make-up or receive any other eye treatments for at least 24 hours after the tinting treatment
